An island called Lamu
Earlier this year, Andy Henson (producer extraordinaire) and I schemed up a plan to go to Lamu to do some shoots. 6 months of planning, recce-ing, pitching, organising & budgeting, accumulated in a 16 day shoot trip with some special clients of ours, a tight crew and a couple of hundred donkeys.
A month in French Polynesia
At the beginning of the year I impulse bought an air ticket to Tahiti. A month away from a known reality to immerse in 4 weeks of shooting, creating and making. To see things with fresh eyes and find inspiration away from a digital feed.
Swimming with Mia
I made a pact with myself this year that I would spend more time in and around the ocean, including shooting again more in the water.
A week on the Greek
A last minute work trip to Paros, Greece. The last of the summertime skies, the last warmth in the rocky coastline.
The islands of the Gods.
A job in Bali in August meant taking a week off after for our first holiday in 3 years & post pandemic. It was joyous to be overseas again.
In the Beginning
In the beginning, all we had were our imaginations. Now we have everything at our fingertips and the need for imagination becomes less and less every day. This journal is a new place for my inspirations, for my imaginations to run wild again. I hope you enjoy. xx
